EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATION IN THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK SITUATION IN NEW NORMAL LIVING

Abstract

This article presented the concept of education administration in the COVID-19 outbreak situation in the new normal living which was knowledge and educational impact with information starting from the origin of the COVID-19 outbreak, administration of educational institutions in the situation of the COVID-19 outbreak, preparation before the beginning of the semester, guidelines for teaching and learning, guideline to conduct for schools and educational institutions in the situation of COVID-19. The approach of teaching and learning in a new way of life was an adaptation and change in learning areas which was the most obvious with today's technology and innovations that created content to facilitate teaching. Teachers searched teaching methods designing to meet the learning desired of each learner moreover, the changing role of the assessment to suit the situation to reflect the learning outcomes for the development of 3 types of teaching and learning, namely 1) normal classes within the school, 2) learning via distance system (On Air), 3) learning via online system to be consistent with the new learning based on a new way of life, namely 1) from public space to private space, 2) teaching methods that designed to meet the learning desired of each learner, 3) the changing role of assessment result.
