ALUMNI’S SATISFACTION TOWARDS CURRICULUM ON BACHELOR OF ARTS PROGRAM IN ENGLISH FOR INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION, FACULTY OF HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES, RAJAMANGALA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY TAWAN-OK

Abstract
This research aimed to investigate alumni’s satisfaction towards curriculum on bachelor of Arts program in English for International Communication, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-Ok. The study was survey research. The samples were 140 alumni starting with the student identification from 2017 to 2020, selected by using purposive selection. The research instrument was an online questionnaire with a 5-level estimation scale, including 3 sections: 1) General information; 2) Questions relating to alumni’s satisfaction towards the curriculum on Bachelor of Arts Program in English for International Communication under of 3 issues: the satisfaction on curriculum (only core subjects), the satisfaction on learning and teaching process, and the satisfaction on application of knowledge into work practice; and 3) Recommendations with open-ended question. The response rate of the questionnaire was 115 copies, or 82.14%. The collected data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The findings revealed that the alumni’s overall satisfaction towards curriculum on bachelor of Arts program in English for International Communication was at the high level ( = 4.03, S.D. = 0.92). When considering each aspect, the learning and teaching process aspect was at the high level (
= 4.07, S.D. = 0.86), followed by the curriculum (only core subjects) aspect with the high level (
= 4.01, S.D. = 0.90), and the application of knowledge into work practice aspect with the high level (
= 4.01, S.D. = 0.99) respectively.
