GUIDELINES FOR IMPROVING DIGITAL EDUCATION INITIATIVES IN VOCATIONAL COLLEGES IN YUNNAN

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to study the Guidelines for Improving Digital Education Initiatives in Yunnan Vocational Colleges with Mixed Method Research The population consisted of 358 administrators, selected by purposive sampling from 8 vocational colleges in Yunnan Province. The research instruments were 1) A questionnaire with a reliability of 0.95 and 71 items, 2) An interview, and 3) An evaluation form. Data were analyzed using percentages, means, standard deviations, and content analysis. The results of the research found that the guidelines for strengthening digital education initiatives in vocational colleges in Yunnan Province consisted of 6 aspects at a high level. Considering the results of various studies from the highest to the lowest level, the highest level was the effectiveness of education policy implementation, followed by the digital transformation of education, followed by digital literacy and financial information, followed by digital education information sources, and the lowest level of digital technology. The concept of education policy leadership emphasizes the important role of leaders in policy development, support, and implementation. This concept demonstrates the importance of leadership policy support for the successful implementation of improved digital education programs, which requires observation and analysis of the components of digital education initiatives in organizational management to assess the effectiveness of educational policies in comprehensive implementation, both in terms of policies that can be fully supported and understood at all levels of the college, and the importance of resources and support for policy implementation for the development of effective policy-based organizations towards achieving sustainable success outcomes.
