THE PARTICIPATORY DEVELOPMENT OF THE PEOPLE ACCORDING TO SÃRÃNÌYADHAMMA PRINCIPLES IN KHANOM SUB – DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY, KHANOM, NAKHON SI THAMMARAT PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were to 1) study The Participatory Development of the people according to Sãrãnìyadhamma principles in Khanom sub-district municipality, Khanom, Nakhon Si Thammarat province, and 2) study the suggestions about the guidelines for The Participatory Development of the people according to Sãrãnìyadhamma principles. A quantitative integrated research model was used, use questionnaires, The population is People in the Khanom Sub-District Municipality area of 367 people, Data were analyzed by statistical package program used to find percentage, mean, standard deviation., and qualitative research by in-depth interviews with key informants, 25 key informants/person. The results of the research found that 1) the Participatory Development of the people according to Sãrãnìyadhamma principles, including all 6 aspects, was at a high level (  = 3.78) when considering each aspect in order of averages from highest to lowest, it was found that the Sìlasãmaññatã aspect was the highest mean, followed by Mettãvacìkamma aspect with mean, and Mettãkãyakamma aspect have the lowest average respectively, respectively. 2) Recommendations on The Participatory Development of the people according to Saraniyadhamma principles, found that, 2.1 Municipality should public relations invite people to join the activity. or projects to jointly develop their communities willingly. 2.2 Municipalities should allow citizens to participate in speaking out, suggesting problems or developing guidelines independently. 2.3 Municipality should giving people the opportunity to participate in thinking express opinions and share in decision-making with freedom and impartiality. 2.4 Municipalities should allow people are involved in getting the most benefits fairly. 2.5 Municipality should participate in the establishment of municipal laws in the community. 2.6 Municipality should provide opportunities for people to participate in cooperation share ideas freely and objectively share the benefits equally without bias.
