LEARNING MANAGEMENT THROUGH INQUIRY CYCLE METHOD WITH GRAPHIC ORGANIZERS TECHNIQUE TO DEVELOP CREATIVE THINKING ABILITY OF PRATOMSUKSA 6 STUDENTS IN BANNONGKHAM SCHOOL UNDER UDON THANI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 1

Abstract

       The purpose of this research were: 1) to study of the results of a quest for knowledge (5Es) learning activities together with Graphic Organizers technique to develop creative thinking ability of Pratomsuksa 6 students to have creative abilities average of at least 70% of the full score, and the number of students who passed the criteria 70% or more, and 2) to study the satisfaction of students towards learning management by using Inquiry Cycle (5Es) and Graphic Organizer Technique. The sampling group consisted of 26 Grade 6/2 students in Bannongkam School under Udon Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 during the second semester of the 2020 academic year. The research model is a single group pre-experimental design. The research methodology employed in this research is one–shot case study. The research instruments used in the study included: 1) 8 lesson plans of 16 instructional periods, 2) 4 choices of learning achievement test consisting of 30 items to assess the students' creative thinking abilities, and 3) 20 item questionnaires to elicit the student’s learning satisfaction toward these teaching methods used. The collected data were analyzed using an arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and percentage. The results of the study were:  1) result of learning management through Inquiry Cycle method with Graphic Organizers technique of the students’ achievement in creative thinking was at 24.35 on average or 81.17 % of the total scores, and 21 students or 80.77 % of the group have passed the criteria which was higher than the prescribed criteria. And 2) the students’ satisfaction in learning through Inquiry Cycle with Graphic Organizer Technique, as a whole, was at the highest level
