THE STUDY OF COMMUNITY STRENGTH AT TUMBONTHONGCHAI, AMPHURMUANG, PHETCHABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

          This study is mix method research. The objective is to study the strength and development guidelines of the community in Thongchai Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phetchaburi Province. Population for this study are 8,589 people in Thongchai District, AmphoeMuang, Phetchaburi. Krejcie& Morgan, a sample of 292 people, were interviewed. The samples were community leaders, sub-district heads, villagers, village headmen and people in Thongchai sub-district, Mueang district, Phetchaburi province during the month. Jul - Aug. 2017 Research tools. Contains general information questionnaire. And the strength of the community. Data analysis The frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. And information about the strength of the community. Analysis by frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results of the analysis of the strength of the Thongchai community found that community leaders and people in Thongchai district. See that the Thongchai community has strength overall. At the high level (  = 7.19, SD = 2.10) the strongest performance was in community participation in health promotion in community (  = 7.37, SD = 2.14) The lowest level is the use of resources in the community fully and efficiently in the middle level ( = 6.93, SD = 2.14). Others items were strong in the community. Guidelines to promote the strength of communities in Thongchai Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phetchaburi Province Should strengthen the community in 5 areas, communication, work, access to services, environment and values. Suggestions should include activities / social-service projects to strengthen the community in accordance with the problems and needs of the community. Relevant agencies should organize social service activities / projects to strengthen the community should focus on the full use of community resources and communicate to all process.
