A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PARTICIPATION OF THAI BUDDHIST AND THAI MUSLIM BAN MAMUANGSONGTON MUANG DISTRICT NAKHON SI THAMMARAT

Abstract

          The purposes of this quantitative research were to study 1) study on community development participation of Thai Buddhist and Thai Muslim, Ban Mamuangsongton, Muang district, Nakhon Si thammarat province. 2) compare on community development participation of Thai Buddhist and Thai Muslim, Ban Mamuangsongton, Muang district, Nakhon Si thammarat province in terms of religions, sexes, ages, degrees of education, occupations and incomes and 3) study on suggestion for community development participation of Thai Buddhist and Thai Muslim, Ban Mamuangsongton, Muang district, Nakhon Si thammarat province.

          The findings are as follows: 1) The community development participation of Thai Buddhist and Thai Muslim, Ban Mamuangsongton, Muang district, Nakhon Si thammarat province by overview is at more level for all aspects, when considered in each domain found the domain of service mind is the highest mean follow by domain of garbage domain of justice and domain of social relation is the lowest mean respectively. 2) The comparative on community development participation of Thai Buddhist and Thai Muslim, Ban Mamuangsongton, incomes found that in terms of religions, sexes and ages there were not difference but in terms of degrees of education, occupations and incomes there were difference as statistically significance at .05. and 3) The suggestions on community development participation of Thai Buddhist and Thai Muslim, Ban Mamuangsongton, found that ; the domain of service mind is the highest frequency i.e. there should co operate for development of temple, school, Mosque and to have campaign for love local.
