Subject: Warning Against False Claims in the Name of the Journal of Local Governance and Innovation

It has come to our attention that certain individuals or groups are falsely claiming to represent the Journal of Local Governance and Innovation in order to collect fees for article publication. These parties claim to offer services including article writing, formatting, submission, and even securing acceptance letters from the journal.

The Journal of Local Governance and Innovation would like to clarify that it has no policy of charging such fees, and has never authorized any external individuals or groups to act on its behalf under any circumstances.

To avoid being deceived, individuals wishing to submit articles for publication should contact the journal only through its official communication channels. If you encounter suspicious behavior or are contacted by someone falsely claiming to represent the journal, please do not respond and notify the journal immediately.

We sincerely thank you for your trust and ask for your cooperation in monitoring and reporting such fraudulent activities to prevent further harm to academics and academic institutions as a whole.
