บทคัดย่อ

ภูมิหลังและวัตถุประสงค์: คำผรุสวาทคือถ้อยคำที่ไม่สุภาพซึ่งมักใช้สื่อสารแบบไม่เป็นทางการ อย่างไรก็ตามคำผรุสวาทมักปรากฏในสื่อบันเทิง เช่น ภาพยนตร์ ในยุคปัจจุบันภาพยนตร์ภาษาอังกฤษที่มีคำผรุสวาท f-word ในบทสนทนามีมากขึ้น ซึ่งการแปลความหมายของ f-word เป็นบทบรรยายใต้ภาพภาษาไทยต้องใช้กลยุทธ์การแปลภาษาที่หลากหลายเพื่อให้เหมาะสมกับสถานการณ์ เพราะ f-word มักมีความหมายเปลี่ยนแปลงไปตามบริบท เช่นเดียวกับแนวทางของวัจนปฏิบัติศาสตร์ที่มุ่งเน้นการตีความภาษาในสถานการณ์ต่าง ๆ ซึ่งต้องอาศัยบริบทแวดล้อมเพื่ออนุมานความหมายที่แท้จริงที่ผู้ส่งสารต้องการสื่อ ในปี พ.ศ. 2567 ภาพยนตร์เรื่อง Deadpool & Wolverine เป็นภาพยนตร์ที่มี f-word ในบทสนทนามากที่สุดในภาพยนตร์ชุด Deadpool ทั้งสามภาค วัตถุประสงค์ของงานวิจัยชิ้นนี้คือ 1. ศึกษา f-words ที่ปรากฏในภาพยนตร์เรื่อง Deadpool & Wolverine เพื่อจำแนกและวิเคราะห์ความถี่และความแตกต่างของรูปแบบ f-word เชิงบริบทที่ปรากฎในบทสนทนาภาษาอังกฤษ 2. วิเคราะห์การแปลคำผรุสวาท f-word จากคำบรรยายใต้ภาพภาษาไทยในภาพยนตร์เรื่อง Deadpool & Wolverine เพื่อแสดงประเภทของกลยุทธ์ที่ใช้ในการแปล

ระเบียบวิธีการวิจัย: งานวิจัยชิ้นนี้ใช้วิธีวิจัยแบบผสมผสานระหว่างการแสดงสถิติเชิงปริมาณกับการวิเคราะห์เชิงคุณภาพ โดยบรรยายผลวิเคราะห์ความถี่ของ f-word ที่ปรากฏ และวิเคราะห์กลยุทธ์การแปลคำผรุสวาท f-word จากบทบรรยายใต้ภาพภาษาไทยในภาพยนตร์เรื่อง Deadpool & Wolverine โดยประยุกต์เกณฑ์วิเคราะห์กลยุทธ์โดยการเปรียบเทียบลักษณะเฉพาะของแต่ละกลยุทธ์จากทฤษฎีกลยุทธ์การแปลของ Newmark (1988) และ กลยุทธ์การแปลคำต้องห้ามของ Davoodi (2009) และตรวจสอบโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการแปลภาษาอังกฤษ-ไทยประจำสถาบันภาษาของมหาวิทยาลัยรัฐแห่งหนึ่ง

ผลการวิจัย: ผลการศึกษาวิจัยพบว่าในบทสนทนาภาษาอังกฤษของภาพยนตร์เรื่อง Deadpool & Wolverine มี f-word จำนวน 129 คำ แบ่งเป็น 9 รูปแบบ คือ fuck (51.94%), fucking (21.71%), fuckin’ (12.40%), motherfucker (6.20%), fucks (2.33%), fucked (2.33%), fucker (1.55%), fucky (0.77%) และ fuckface (0.77%) และมีการใช้กลยุทธ์การแปลภาษาจำนวน 6 กลยุทธ์ คือ กลยุทธ์การเทียบเท่าภาษาระหว่างวัฒนธรรม (39.53%) กลยุทธ์การละการแปล (36.43%) กลยุทธ์การแปลโดยปรับลดความรุนแรงของภาษา (11.63%) กลยุทธ์การแปลโดยใช้คำต้องห้าม (9.30%) กลยุทธ์การแปลโดยขยายความ (2.33%) และ กลยุทธ์การแปลโดยพยัญชนะ (0.78%) ซึ่งกลยุทธ์การเทียบเท่าภาษาระหว่างวัฒนธรรมเป็นกลยุทธ์ที่เหมาะกับการแปลคำว่า Fuck! ที่เป็นคำอุทาน f-word มากที่สุด

สรุปผล: ผลที่ได้จากการศึกษานี้เสนอทางเลือกหนึ่งในการพัฒนาหลักสูตรการสอนและการแปลภาษาโดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในสื่อดิจิทัลจากการภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาไทย นักแปลสามารถใช้กลยุทธ์ที่เหมาะสมเพื่อปรับปรุงอารมณ์ของผู้ชมรวมทั้งศึกษาคำหยาบคายในบริบทภาษาไทยเพิ่มเติม
