The Implementation of Internal Quality Assurance System of the Schools under The Nong Bua Lam Phu Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the internal quality Assurance of the schools under the jurisdiction of the Nong Bua Lam Phu Primary Educational Service Area Office 1; 2) to compare the implementation of internal quality assurance of the schools under the Nong Bua Lam Phu Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 by dividing on functions and working experiencers in the schools; and 3) to find the guidelines of implementation on internal quality assurance of the schools under the Nong Bua Lam Phu Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The sample were 467 persons: 132 school administrators and 335 teachers. The tools used in this research were a questionnaire on educational quality assurance implementations within schools with an IOC value=0.67-1.00, confidence value=0.89, and an interview form. Statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, and standard deviation, t-test and One-Way ANOVA.

The results showed that: 1) the implementation of educational quality assurance within schools under the jurisdiction of the Nong Bua Lam Phu Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 was at a high level. 2) Results of comparing the differences in quality assurance implementations within schools classified by position found that there was no difference. However, considering work experience, there was a statistically significant difference at the .05. 3) Guidelines for developing quality assurance within schools according to the Ministerial Regulations on Educational Quality Assurance 2561 B.E., were found that the implementations arranged in order from highest to lowest were setting standards for educational institutions, making reports of results, self-assessment and evaluation and quality inspection respectively.
