Household Accounting Practices of people in Koh Yao Yai, Phang Nga Province

Abstract

The main purpose of this research was to study the factors effecting the household account of People Households of the Community Koh Yao Yai, Phang Nga Province. The hypotheses of this research were education level and the average household monthly income which were variable and affected to the household accounts of people household in the community Koh Yao Yai, Phang Nga Province differentiy. The researcher determined the sample size by following the Taro Yamane’s principle the sample consisted of 136 households by sampling method is non probability sampling. The material for collecting the data was questionnaire and the data statistics analysis. The data was analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The researcher examined the differences by t-test and One-way ANOVA.
The results revealed that most of the respondents were female, aged 41-45 years, and graduated in primary school. Most of them were agriculture, the average household monthly income approximately of 20,001 --30,000 baht and members of household number 3 - 6 people. The factors were highly effective to the household account of People Household of the Community Koh Yao Yai, Phang Nga Province were the government support, the support from education in the community, personal and the household economic. The results from hypotheses experiment of this research were the difference of education level and the average household monthly income not much affected to the difference of the household account of People household in the community Koh Yao Yai, Phang Nga Province.
