The Different of Archangel Michael and Archangel Gabriel in Bible and “Legion”

Abstract

This article present the aspect and role of archangels in the cinema name “Legion”. Archangels are angel in Christianity belief, who brings messages from the god to human. In New Testament describe the aspect and role of four archangels, especially St. Michael who defeat Satan, who betrayed the god. And St. Gabriel who brings the message from the god to Maria the virgin. Include aspect of two archangels in fine arts. However, aspect and role of archangels in the cinema are different from New Testament. This cinema brings archangel to new interpret that make audience recognize the different of the aspect and role of archangels.
