Change in Publication Schedule

The Journal of Population and Social Studies (JPSS) will revise its publication schedule beginning with Volume 2027.

JPSS will transition from a fixed-article volume structure to a time-based annual publishing model. Under this system, articles will be published continuously throughout each volume period, enabling more timely dissemination of accepted manuscripts.

The revised volume coverage is as follows:

Volume 2027: Now – 30 May 2027
Volume 2028: 1 June 2027 – 31 December 2028 (transitional extended volume period)
Volume 2029: 1 January 2029 – 31 December 2029
Volume 2030 onwards: 1 January – 31 December (calendar year basis)

This transition is designed to improve publication efficiency, reduce delays, and enhance the overall experience for authors and readers.
