Abstract

To explore the media exposure, attitude and participation in corporate social responsibility of employees in organizations winning “Board with Consistent Best Practices” award. The samples are totally 400 employees in four organizations, EGCO Co, Ltd., PTT Co, Ltd., Siam Commercial Bank Co, Ltd. and TISCO Bank Co, Ltd. The questionnaire is used for data collection. The statistics for data analysis are shown in percentage and average measurement (mean) to specify the population and it characteristics. For hypotheses testing, t-test and the Pearson product moment correlation coefficient are used for the analysis in order to test the differences and the correlations among variables under study. SPSS program is used for data processing. The result shows that the employees regularly expose to information about corporate social responsibility via mass media. Their attitude towards corporate social responsibility is positive. While, their participation is low. The result of hypothesis are as follows: 1. The exposure to information about corporate social responsibility among the employees in primary activities and supporting activities is not different at statistical significant level of 0.05. 2. The attitude towards corporate social responsibility of employees among the employees in primary activities and supporting activities is different at statistical significant of 0.05. 3. The participation in corporate social responsibility of employees is not correlate with their attitude toward corporate social responsibility at statistical significant level of 0.05.
