The Factors Affecting Operational Efficiency of Franchise Entrepreneurs in Chiang Rai Province

Abstract

The aims of this research were 1) to compare the differences between demographic information of franchise Entrepreneurs and their operational efficiency; 2) to examine the level of factors affecting operational efficiency of franchise Entrepreneurs in Chiang Rai Province and 3) to investigate the factors affecting the operational efficiency of franchise Entrepreneurs in Chiang Rai Province. The questionnaire distribution with 400 food and beverage franchise Entrepreneurs in Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province. The data analysis performed calculation of t-test, one-way ANOVA, mean, standard deviation and multiple regression. The results revealed that personal entrepreneurial competencies standards showed positive effect on operational efficiency of the franchise Entrepreneurs; while external environment showed negative effect on operational efficiency of the franchise Entrepreneurs.
