The Mediating Role of Innovative Organizational between Leadership and Human Resource Management influences to Organizational Performance of Nursing Organizational to Community Hospital

Abstract

The purposes of this research were (1) to study importance level of leadership, human resources management, innovative organization and nursing performance in community hospital (2) to study the influence of leadership, human resources management, innovative organization, and innovative organization affecting nursing performance in community hospital. (3) to study the mediating effect of innovative organization between leadership and human resources management influencing nursing performance in community hospital. This quantitative research recruited 2,800 professional nurses, and the questionnaire was used for data collection. The descriptive statistics for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, the inferential statistics was used to analyze the effect of structural relationship by using AMOS 22.0, and content analysis. The results showed that most of professional nurses placed the first priority on nursing performance, followed by human resources management, innovative organization, and leadership respectively. All factors were rated at the high level. The path analysis indicated that human resources management showed positive effect towards innovative organization, followed by leadership showing indirect effect towards organization performance through human resources management. Leadership showed positive effect towards human resources management. Innovative organization showed positive effect towards organizational performance. Human resources management showed positive effect towards organizational performance. And, leadership showed direct effect on organizational performance at the significance level of .001, while leadership showed negative effect towards innovative organization at the significance level of .01. The testing mediating variables showed that innovative organization was partial mediation between leadership and human resources management leading to influence towards the organizational performance of some nursing units.
