Education Supervision in the Normal Era of the Secondary Education Service Area Office

This research aims to know about educational supervision in the new era of the Office of the Secondary Education Area. It is a mixed-method research. It studies the concept of educational supervision, the purpose, importance and necessity, as well as the process of educational supervision in the new era of the Office of the Secondary Education Area as a research framework. The key informants are 19 experts in educational supervision. The selection method is purposive according to the specified criteria. There are 2 types of research instruments: 1) Unstructured interviews 2) Questionnaires using the EDFR research technique. The statistics used for data analysis are the base mean, the mode, and the interquartile range. Qualitative research is used to analyze and synthesize the data obtained from the interviews and write a descriptive description.
The research results found that educational supervision in the new era of the Office of the Secondary Education Area consists of 5 aspects as follows: 1) Educational supervision personnel: Supervisors must be leaders of change in all dimensions, apply technology creatively. 2) Educational supervision planning: Set goals, create supervision plans that are consistent with the needs of the supervisee, set calendars, tools, and create understanding between the supervisee and the supervisee. 3) Educational supervision process: Supervisors provide advice and feedback. Build morale, create a supervision network 4) In terms of innovative media for educational supervision, promote teachers to have knowledge in technology, be able to produce and select a variety of innovative media, and 5) Summarize and report the results of educational supervision by exchanging knowledge in the form of a professional learning community (PLC), use the results of supervision to improve and develop the quality of education, present exemplary work, record impressive stories that have occurred together, and publish them via online media. The findings from this research are that supervisors should be aware, have comprehensive knowledge, be able to provide creative advice, be good friends, and conduct supervision in the form of a quaint image to develop the quality of education.
