Abstract

The objective of this research were to study the cooperation methods for sustainable aquatic weeding control in the upper northeast under the Ruam Jai Phak Saving Water Resources Project. A qualitative research by in-depth interview from 23 people using primary data consists of the officers who got affected and played an important role in solving the weed problems of water resources in the area and focus group meetings. The target group is 13 people who played an important role in solving the weed problems of water sources.

The research results were found that the problem of rapid propagation of weeds in water resources is a lack of budget for the weed control of the water sources continuously. Most people still lack the knowledge and understanding of weed control with organic substances under the Ruam Jai Phak Saving Water Resources Project There should be an integration of cooperation by establishing of community committees in each area to eliminate weeds of water sources to represent each village that has water sources and encounter the problem of weeds in the water source. Organize a project to eliminate weeds in water sources by helping from agencies with knowledge of weed control in water sources. There is a follow up on the results according to the plans that have been made as well as preparing a plan to request the budget from relevant agencies. The government should allocate funds to local areas for weeding of water sources, continuity in problem solving. Promoting careers building generated income for farmers from selling citrus fruits which are used as organic ingredients to spray weeds in the water supply and promote the creation of products derived from weeds to be processed, produced, sold generated income for the people in the area.
