COMMUNITY COOPERATION IN DRUG PREVENTION AND SUPPRESSION IN THE AEA OF NONG CHOK DISTRICT, BANGKOK METROPOLITAN

This research article presents a quantitative study conducted in Nong Chok District,Bangkok. The sample group consisted of residents in Nong Chok District. A questionnaire was used as the research instrument. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The research findings revealed that.Community cooperation in drug prevention and suppression in Nong Chok District, Bangkok, was at a high level (X̄ = 4.11).Factors affecting community cooperation in drug prevention and suppression, analyzed by gender, age, marital status, education level, occupation, and income, showed no significant differences (p > .05).Recommendations for enhancing community cooperation in drug prevention and suppression in Nong Chok District included: the need for government officials to demonstrate sincerity and commitment in drug suppression, stricter control of entertainment venues and disguised shops, and greater community participation in reporting drug-related incidents and engaging in prevention campaigns.
