The Clash between Confucian Thought and Buddhism through Literature: 'The Theory of Monks Not Worshiping the King' in the Jin Dynasty

The purpose of this research article is to study the difference between Confucian philosophy and Buddhism which is the origin of the phenomenon of monasticism in the Jin Dynasty. By using the method of studying the documents and analyzing the causes of this clash of different ideas. The results of the study revealed that the discourse of Monk Hui Yan through the monastic theory of not paying homage to the king was succeeded in disputing orders from the imperial court and subtly answering questions from Confucianism Until it became the original theory of Buddhism when the Buddha and Confucius had a dispute or clash of ideas that occurred later.
