NAKHON MAE SOT : DEVELOPING A MULTICULTURAL SOCIETY FOR RECONCILIATION

This research article has the objective To study the general conditions and problems and obstacles of living together in a harmonious multicultural society. To develop a multicultural society for living together harmoniously in a multicultural society. To strengthen the network for developing a multicultural society, living together in harmony, is an integrated research method. Quantitative research format, 150 photos/person, and participatory action research. It was a small group seminar of 7 religious experts and 9 academic experts. Content data was analyzed and a descriptive lecture was written.
The research results found that; 1) General conditions of the community in Mae Sot District It is a form of helping and supporting each other. Respecting each other Understanding and studying each other's cultures Without conflicting with religious practices, what is important is helping with social misfortunes. public welfare Help with suffering It is a community characterized by social relationships of relatives. Love peace and help each other. Have a close relationship with each other Give freedom of thought without religious discrimination. Know how to distinguish between lifestyle and religion. And the center for carrying out activities is the temple and school. 2) Developing a multicultural society for living together in harmony Starting with the education system, which incorporates teaching techniques to stimulate youth to be interested and want to learn. Create activities for youth to participate in the community to learn and practice, such as Songkran traditions. merit-making tradition It is an indication of the strength of living together in a multicultural society that has different religions and cultures but can do activities together under their own religious practices, with elders and religious leaders demonstrating their behavior as good examples. for the youth to see as an example 3) Strengthening networks for coexistence in a multicultural society It is the operating model of network partner organizations. It is a special operation. It is a joint effort between religious groups to exchange knowledge about differences in religion and culture. Driving under a collaborative model in the form of voluntary unity. Use traditional cultural activities as a link.
