A MODEL OF DEVELOPING PERSONNEL'S DIGITAL COMPETENCY IN RAJAMANGALA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY RATTANAKOSIN

The objectives of this research were 1) To study the causal factors contributing to the development of digital competencies among personnel at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin. 2) To examine the model of digital competency development among personnel at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin. 3) To identify the groups that should receive development and the factors that promote digital competency among personnel at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin. And 4) To assess the feasibility of implementing the digital competency development model among personnel at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin. This research employed a mixed-methods approach and included academic and support staff as the research sample, totaling 416 individuals, selected through a multi-stage sampling process. The research tools used include questionnaires, expert interviews, and an assessment of the development management model. Statistical analyses were encompassing basic statistics and reference statistics, including hypothesis testing such as one-way ANOVA, multiple regression analysis, and path analysis.
Research findings were as follows: 1) The group of internal personal factors and external personal factors collectively explains 84.40% of the development of digital competencies among personnel at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin. 2) The causal factor model aligned with observational data. 3) Personnel with different fundamental characteristics exhibited varying levels of digital competencies. And 4) The evolution of the digital competency development model by qualified individuals yields an average score from 26.50 to 27.50 and an overall average score of 76.25, which exceeds the established standards of 70% and 75%, respectively, suggesting confidence in the application of the digital competencies development model among personnel at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin.
