Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate tourist attractiveness variables as well as public knowledge of environmental health standards and sustainable tourism and to investigate the link between tourist attractiveness characteristics, environmental health standards awareness, and sustainable tourism. This study is quantitative research. The study framework consists of environmental health standards (GREEN) and assessment criteria for sustainable tourism. The Purposive Sampling approach was utilized on 292 persons who are accountable for and take care of tourist attractions in Thailand that are currently operational to serve tourists and have passed the fundamental requirements of tourist attractions.                A questionnaire was employed in the data collection. The frequency distribution, Percentage, and Chi-Square test were used to evaluate the data.

According to the findings, the majority of respondents are aware of waste management and environmentally responsible tourism. The sort of tourist destination is not related to the environmental health requirements or sustainable tourism. Furthermore, while the age of the tourist attraction is related to awareness of environmental health requirements, it is not related to awareness of sustainable tourism standards.
