DEVELOPMENT OF EMPLOYEE HAPPINESS IN THE WORKPLACE PATHUMTHANI PROVINCE

Abstract

The purposes of this research was 1) To study factors promoting happiness in the organization. and happiness in work of employees in the workplace 2) To study the relationship of factors promoting happiness in the organization and happiness at work of employees in the workplace 3) To study factors promoting happiness in the organization that affect happiness at work of employees in the workplace in Pathum Thani Province. and 4)To present guidelines for developing happiness in the workplace of employees in the workplace in Pathum Thani Province. It is a mixed methods research. Studied the concept of workplace well-being, happy workplace, happiness at work. It is a research framework. The sample group is executives and operating employees of Industrial organizations in Pathum Thani province, totaling 400 people, used stratified random selection and simple random sampling. There are 2 types of  instruments used in the research: 1) a checklist form 2) a 5-level rating scale form. The data were analyzed using statistics such as number, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis.

The research results were as follow ; 1) Factors promoting happiness in the organization and happiness of employees in the workplace was at high level. 2) Factors promoting happiness in the organization and happiness of employees in the workplace in Pathum Thani Province there was a statistically significant relationship at the .01 level.  3) Well-being at work, 16 variables out of a total of 20 variables that affect employee happiness in work. which could explain the variance of 63.10% with statistically significance at the .01 level. And there were 11 variables of happy organization out of 24 variables that affected employees' happiness in work which could explain the variance of 69.60% with statistically significance at the .01 level.

4) Guidelines for developing employees' happiness in the workplace in Pathum Thani Province consist of (1)Create organizational culture (2)Encourage personnel participation (3) Develop a pleasant working environment (4) Create and promote commitment in the organization (5) supplementation physical health (6)build morale in terms of welfare and (7)Promote continuous development of work performance.
