Abstract

The evolution of Buddhism in India from the past to the present through the view of author that had the opportunity to participate with Buddhist organizations activities in various areas throughout the state of Maharashtra, India to see a variety of perspectives and outstanding leadership of the Buddhist community in activities to propel Buddhism Promotion and revival of Buddhism back to the Land of Buddha

Various activities were organized as a symbolic expression. and create impetus for Buddhism to bloom again After the era of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, who has inspired many Buddhists in India in two important missions 1) bringing Buddhism back to India and 2) creating social equality. After Dr. Ambedkar died, the role of leading new Buddhists in India seems to be more outstanding. Leaders is the one who sets the direction for the masses.
