Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1) to study the energy consumption change policy that affects employment in the automotive industry, 2) to study the labor impacts from production changes in the automotive industry, 3) to study Solutions to employment problems in the automotive industry The researcher conducted a study in the form of qualitative research. From in-depth interviews, 1) 4 senior executives of Thai auto parts companies 2) 4 executives of automotive companies 3) senior government officials such as the Ministry of Industry Ministry of Commerce Industrial Standards Institute, 4 labor leaders (unions), and 4) 3 academicians related to the auto parts industry, totaling 15 people
The results showed that 1) Innovation is essential to lead the automotive parts industry towards its goals. Innovation capability is a strategy that involves changes to enhance product performance and also customer satisfaction. Innovation of the automotive parts industry It has to use management knowledge to improve the structure to be more clear. The expertise and skill of a person when bringing new ideas. That has been brought into practice and creates new quality things that can be used for real, reducing costs and increasing profits for the automotive parts industry. Achieve higher efficiency and effectiveness, benefiting social and economic life. Processes or services must be characterized by variations in order to constantly modernize themselves. 2) Changes in policy implementation resulted in human resource management in the automotive industry being under intense competition. Human capital is an important factor that creates an advantage and is considered a key success factor. 3) Having economic cooperation policies creates added value or value chains. competitive Must find the most effective way of working and set a standard for work. Building competitiveness requires continuous investment in new product innovation. There are business conglomerates to achieve greater strength. ready for trade liberalization Services and Investments of the ASEAN Community It promotes innovation, technology that is flexible according to customer needs. This will affect the ability to compete in the world market better.
