Environmental Management for Water Treatment in Mae Kha Canal, Muang District, Chiang Mai Province

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the water environment in Mae Kha Canal, Muang District, Chiang Mai Province at present, 2) to study factors affecting the Mae Kha Canal environment. and the impact on the living conditions of the people and the image of the Muang district. and 3) to present environmental management for water treatment in Khlong Mae Kha, Muang District, Chiang Mai Province. This research used a qualitative research method. Apply methods for collecting information and analyzing information from relevant documents and research. and in-depth interviews. Research Findings 1) Water Environment in Mae Kha Canal The government has driven a participatory master plan with a working group in each area under 4 strategies: “Running water, clear water, good landscape, and consciousness” in Phase 1, the area along the Mae Kha Canal became a new tourist attraction. The work has been successfully delivered. 2) Factors affecting the environment of the Mae Kha Canal, namely the rapid expansion of the city in various aspects, the encroachment along the Mae Kha Canal, resulting in slums. As a result, the environment of the Mae Kha Canal deteriorated. There is severely stinky water. The government hastened the implementation of the project in phases 2 and 3. 3) Environmental management for water treatment in Mae Kha Canal, Muang District, Chiang Mai Province by bringing ozone innovation and solar cell innovation Become part of the participatory master plan. The goal is "Nam Sai" Smart Technology for sustainable development.
