Abstract

This study’s objectives were 1) to investigate the teamwork level of teachers in the special education center in educational Institution group of special education bureau group 1, and 2) to compare the teamwork level of teachers based on their position, and work experience. This exploratory research had adapted the concepts from the studies of Varaporn Tragoolsarid, Sumet ngamkanok, Biech; YongYoot Ketsakorn, Tongtippa Viriyaphan, Thiradet Rewmongkol, Parker , Herrenkohl, as its framework. The sample selected by stratified random sampling was 300 teachers in the semester B.E. 2565 who worked at the special education center in educational Institution group of special education bureau group 1. Data was collected by implementing questionnaire, and analyzed by basic statistics: mean, standard deviation, independent t-test, and one-way ANOVA.
The findings revealed as follows: 1. According to the first objective, the overall teamwork level of teachers in the special education center in educational Institution group of special education bureau group 1 was at high level ( = 4.29, S.D.=0.46). By considering each variable, the variable with the highest mean score was ‘communication’ ( = 4.38 S.D.=0.51), whereas the variable with the lowest score was ‘evaluation, adjustment and development’ ( = 4.20 S.D.=0.59). 2. According to the second object, 2.1 the teachers with different work experience had different mean scores on the overall and each variable aspects at non-significance value of .05. 2.2 The overall score and each variable scores of the teachers with different job position were different at significance value of .05.
From the results of this study, the administrators of the special education center in educational Institution group could integrate this data in constructing policies to sustainably improve teamwork in the institution. Moreover, this research could be the reference for teachers at special education center to utilize and further their teamwork experiences.
