GUIDELINES FOR DEVELOPING ADMINISTRATION EFFICIENCY OF THAI WOMEN EMPOWERMENT FUNDS IN MAE LA SUB - DISTRICT, BANG RACHAN DISTRICT, SINGBURI PROVINCE

Abstract

This research article aims to: 1) study the level of administrative efficiency of the Women’s Role Development Fund in Maela Subdistrict, Bang Rachan District, Sing Buri Province, and 2) propose guidelines for improving the administrative efficiency of the Women’s Role Development Fund in Maela Subdistrict, Bang Rachan District, Sing Buri Province. The study uses a mixed-methods approach, primarily quantitative, with a sample of 255 respondents. The research tools included: 1) questionnaires and 2) interviews. Key informants consisted of 10 individuals, selected via purposive sampling, including 1) members of the Women’s Role Development Fund committee, 2) fund members who borrowed from the revolving fund for occupational purposes, and 3) fund officers from the Community Development Department. Data were analyzed through content analysis and descriptive interpretation.

        The research findings revealed that: 1) Overall, the administrative efficiency of the Women’s Role Development Fund in Maela Subdistrict, Bang Rachan District, Sing Buri Province, was at a moderate level. The highest-rated aspect was client satisfaction, while the lowest was goal achievement. 2) Guidelines for improving administrative efficiency include regularly participating in project approval meetings, developing a clear fund management plan, providing a permanent office for the fund group, securing budgets for equipment support, maintaining updated member information, organizing data systematically, and frequently publicizing fund activities with comprehensive outreach, including home visits to female members.
