A MODEL FOR ORGANIZING THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE TO ENHANCE COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE AND EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE OF EARLY CHILDHOOD BASED ON THE INQUIRY APPROACH

Abstract

The purposes of this study were: 1) to conduct the result of outline of learning experiential model to enhance communication ability and emotional intelligence capacities of early childhood, 2) to investigate the effectiveness of try-out for the outline of learning experiential mode. This research undertook a research and development process comprised of outline and try-out learning experiential model with the target group of 30 learners, that obtained based on purposive sampling from Ban Padaeng Community School, and study the results of try-out the learning experiential model with the target group that assigned with purposive sampling method, in the first semester of academic year 2022. The instruments used to collect the research data in this study were composed of 24 experience-based learning management plans, a 15-item communication ability assessment form, and a 15-item emotional intelligence evaluation form. The information obtained was analyzed using mean, standard deviation, t-test for Dependent sample.    

The results showed that:

1.The outline of experience-based learning management model to enhance communication ability and emotional intelligence capacities of the children that learning through learning experiential model based on Executive Function and inquiry-based learning approaches was composed of 1) The principles of model, 2) The objectives of model, 3) The conception of learning experiential model, 4) The learning experiential model activities, 5) The medias and learning resources, The model assessment. Whereas, the results of assessment for the appropriate learning experiential model revealed at the high level, that had the overall average score of 4.20

  1.   The result of try-out experience-based learning management model revealed that the learners were managed activities through learning experiential model showed overall communication ability and emotional intelligence capacities at the high levels, whereas compared with the 75 full scores, with average scores of 67.26 and 64.20 respectively.
