INNOVATION IN MANAGES EMPOWERING ABOUT MORALITY AND ETHICS OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH, RATCHABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) study the level of morality and ethics of children and youth in present time. 2) study of the promotion and development of morality and ethics in children and youth of family institutions, religious institutions, and educational institutions in present time. 3) presentation of innovative management to empower morality and ethics of children and youth in Ratchaburi Province. This research was conducted with mixed methods. For quantitative part, the sample group of this research comprised 5 groups of population in Ratchaburi 400 persons by stratified random sampling. For qualitative part, non-participatory observation and in-depth interview were conducted 30 people in total. The data were analyzed by using content analysis.

            The research findings were as follow: 1) The current level of morality and ethics of children and youth as a whole at a high level when considering each aspect, it was found that the aspects with the highest level of morality and ethics were volunteerism, honesty, discipline, and sufficiency respectively.  2) The promotion and development of morality and ethics in children and youth of family institutions, religious institutions, and educational institutions in pesent time, the overall picture was at a high level. And the family institution plays the highest role followed by academy and religious institutions respectively.                       3) Innovation in manages empower morality and ethics of children and youth in Ratchaburi Province was called the Sam Saphan, namely the strong family bridge, strict temple bridge and concentrated school bridge.
