“META-GOVERNANCE” THE SOLUTION OF GOVERNANCE FAILURE

Abstract

This article aims to understand the meta-governance as the solution of the governance failure. Starting from finding the answer that why public administration, which under the new governance concept that is recognizes as able to improve the efficiency under a complex socio-political context, have problems and still can’t achieve the goals of the government sector until leading to the governance failure. Therefore, meta-governance become a new concept the has emerged to control the governance to oversee any failures. This article will help to understanding the problems of new governance and the concept of meta-governance as a tool to address governance failures, thus enhancing governance effectiveness.
