Implementation of Internal Educational Quality Assurance at Satrichaiyaphum School Under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Chaiyaphum

Abstract

This study aims to 1) investigate the problems in the implementation of internal educational quality assurance at Satrichaiyaphum school under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Chaiyaphum, and 2) compare the problems in the implementation of internal educational quality assurance at Satrichaiyaphum school under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Chaiyaphum. The sample consisted of 150 administrators and teachers of Satrichaiyaphum school selected through stratified random sampling. The research instruments included a structured interview and a questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale and an overall reliability coefficient of 0.70. The statistical methods used for data analysis are mean, standard deviation and t-test.

          The research results showed that: 1)The current level of the implementation of internal educational quality assurance at Satrichaiyaphum school under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Chaiyaphum was generally at a high level according to administrators and teachers. When examined by specific aspects, the highest average rating was given to setting educational standards, followed by developing a school development plan, monitoring implementation to improve the school and implementing the school development plan. The aspect with the lowest average rating was the preparation of a self-evaluation report. 2) The comparison of the implementation of internal educational quality assurance based on the perceptions of administrators and teachers at Satrichaiyaphum school, classified by educational level, revealed no differences overall. When considering specific aspects, there were no differences in the setting of educational standards, the development of a school development plan, the implementation of the school development plan, the evaluation and inspection of internal educational quality, the monitoring of implementation for school improvement and the preparation of a self-evaluation report.
