Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the effectiveness of schools, 2) to study multilevel factors influencing school effectiveness, and 3) to find ways to develop factors affecting the effectiveness of small primary schools. The sample group used in this research consisted of administrators, teachers and grade 6 students of small primary schools. In the Regional Education Office No.11 of 1,620 people. Qualified 5-level estimation scale questionnaire. The power to discriminate between 0.22-0.95 and the confidence of the four questionnaires were 0.80, 0.89, 0.94 and 0. 95 respectively. The statistics used in the data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation. School Effectiveness Factor Correlation Test Using Pearson's Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and analysis of multilevel factors affecting the effectiveness of small elementary schools using the HLM 8.00 program.
The results showed:
1. The effectiveness of small primary schools in the Regional Education Office No.11 area, the overall average was at a high level.
2. Multi-level Factors influenced the effectiveness of small primary schools in the Regional Education Office No.11, there were 3 levels of factors: 1) student level factor affecting the effectiveness of small primary schools was the student's attitude towards learning study behavior study motivation 2) the classroom level factor affecting the effectiveness of small primary schools was teacher teaching quality, media and learning innovations learning experience within the classroom and learning experiences outside the classroom and 3) school-level factor affecting the effectiveness of small primary schools was the leadership of executives school atmosphere relationship between school and community and learning organizations.
3. This research presented an approach to develop factors influencing the effectiveness of small primary schools in the Regional Education Office No.11, the three factors that directly influenced were 1) the quality of students 2) the quality of learning management and 3) the quality of school administration.
