THE DEVELOPING AN INSTRUCTIONAL MODEL TO PROMOTE ENGLISH READING COMPREHENSION SKILLS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT

The purpose of this research were 1) to developing an instructional model to promote English reading comprehension skill for high school student 2 ) to study the efficiency of instructional model to promote English reading comprehension skill for high school student The samples were 33 students of the fourth grade students at HUAPAI SCHOOL The instruments employed were MALLIGA Model,lesson plans ,text book how to use model, achievement test,and questionnaire. The obtained data were analyzed by using percentage,mean,standard deviation,t-test dependent and content analysis
The results of the study were as follows:
1. The instructional model was call MALLIGA Model. The Model consisted of
Principles, object, syntax , instructional effects, principle of reaction and support system.There were 7 steps of syntax as follow Motivate : M, activate :A, Learning Style : L ,lesson : Improve ,Gather : G,Apply : A
2. Instruction format that develop to go up 83.45/82.00 effective which , be in line with standard the location keeps , be 80/80.
3. The satisfaction of the fourth grade students toward the MALLIGA Model to promote English reading comprehension l was at the highest level of satisfaction
