Abstract

The aim of this study was threefold: (1) to examine the strategic leadership development model of educational institution administrators under the new normal, (2) to compare the strategic leadership development models of educational institution administrators under the new normal, classified by personal factors, and (3) to formulate guidelines for developing a model of strategic leadership development for school administrators under the new normal. This study employed both quantitative and qualitative research methods.

The results of the study revealed that: (1) the overall strategic leadership development of educational institution administrators under the new normal was at a high level, with an average score of 3.54. When classified by item, it was found that the goal of learning opportunities was at a high level, with an average score of 3.89, followed by responsibilities with honesty and openness to information, also at a high level. (2) The comparison of the strategic leadership development of school administrators under the new normal, classified by personal factors, showed that the positions and average monthly income of the administrators did not significantly affect their strategic leadership development. (3) In proposing guidelines for developing the strategic leadership of school administrators under the new normal, it was found that administrators should set goals for learning opportunities in order to improve the quality of learners in terms of perception, conceptualization, and strategic thinking. Additionally, administrators should possess the ability to solve problems creatively and have a superior vision of thinking compared to others.
