THE MODEL FOR ADMINISTRATION OF PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY TO DEVELOP ANALYTICAL SKILL USING KWL PLUS TECHNIQUE IN WATPHAIKAEW SCHOOL

Abstract

This research aims to study the success of management in teaching analytical thinking using the community-based learning model, with the KWL Plus technique at Wat Phai Kaeo School. The research is conducted as an action research, exploring the concept of community-based learning management and teaching strategies to enhance students' analytical thinking skills. The research takes place at Wat Phai Kaeo School and collects data through participatory observation and questionnaires. The important participants are teachers and students from Wat Phai Kaeo School, totaling forty-nine individuals.
The research findings are as follows: 1) The creation and development of the Professional Learning Community (PLC) management model to enhance analytical thinking with the KWL Plus technique is at the highest level, with an overall average score of 4.68., 2) The evaluation of teaching performance by teachers in managing learning to promote analytical thinking has two rounds: practical training and mentoring. The quality of teaching in analytical thinking by teachers is higher than before the research, with an average score of 4.00 and a standard deviation of 0.00., 3) The analysis of students' performance using the KWL Plus technique shows that the average score after the research is 4.00, with a standard deviation of 0.00, which is higher than the average score before the research, which was 1.22 with a standard deviation of 0.43., 4) The comparison of analytical thinking skills among 4th-grade students before and after the research shows that the average score after the research is 3.61, with a standard deviation of 0.51, which is higher than the average score before the research, which was 1.30 with a standard deviation of 1.00. For 5th-grade students, the average score after the research is 3.82, with a standard deviation of 0.51, which is higher than before the research with a standard deviation of 1.41. For 6th-grade students, the average score after the research is 3.93, with a standard deviation of 0.25, which is higher than the average score before the research, which was 1.50 with a standard deviation of 0.52., 5) The satisfaction of teachers towards the Professional Learning Community (PLC) management model is at the highest level, with an average score of 4.67 and a standard deviation of 0.48.
