GUIDELINES FOR PREPARING PRIMARY SERVICE UNITS IN BANGKOK TO SERVE THE ELDERLY UNDER SURVEILLANCE MEASURES TO PREVENT AND CONTROL THE SPREAD OF THE COVID-19 EPIDEMIC

The purposes of this research were to 1) study the guidelines for preparing primary care units for elderly service and 2) evaluate the level of preparing primary care units to serve the elderly under the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic. The study design was Mxied method, the quantitative research, which is a survey of opinions on the readiness of primary care units in Bangkok at 194 people and opinions of 582 elderly people. The qualitative research was conducted by participant observation and in-depth interviews with 10 key persons. Data were analyzed by Discriptive statistice, panalogy analysis and interpretation.
The results found that Guidelines for preparing to servives the elderly under surveillance measures to prevent and control the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic in Bangkok by the health care coverage through participation mechanisms, health literacy building follow rights and duties along with providing a service system that is easily accessible and comprehensive with sustainability. The findings of influence factors were the structure of population changes, politics, economy, technology, natural resources and the environment. and epidemiology of disease that may affect the quality of life of the elderly who are at risk groups under budget constraints. The management that focuses on efficiency and cost-effectiveness and drive public health policy to create equality and equality in the elderly society
