Abstract

The present research endeavors to examine the level of development of community health networks in Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, Ratchaburi Province, and to analyze the factors affecting the development of such networks. Furthermore, it synthesizes a development model for the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market community health network by incorporating the participation process of social institutions. The research adopts an integrated research method, combining both qualitative and quantitative research approaches. The sample group consisted of 380 individuals selected from the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market community in Ratchaburi Province using a stratified selection method. Data was collected through structured interviews and questionnaires. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics such as percentages, mean, and standard deviation, as well as multiple regression analysis methods. Additionally, qualitative data was analyzed through descriptive interpretation.  The results indicate that the overall development of community health networks in Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is at a high level. Among the different aspects, comfort (mental well-being) was found to be the highest ranked, followed by physical well-being, while intellectual well-being was found to be the lowest.

The results also revealed that the benefits received from the implementation and common sense were found to be significant factors affecting the development of community health networks in the study area. These factors were found to jointly predict 16.90% of the development of community health networks with a statistical significance of 0.05.  The proposed model for the development of community health networks in Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, Ratchaburi Province, involves the participation process of social institutions. This includes the formation of a network of cooperation among network partners, such as Bor-Wor-Ror or Borworn (three-coordination), through the signing of a memorandum of cooperation in writing to drive concrete missions together. The model aims to raise the level of cooperation among network partners and promote the development of community health networks in the study area.
