Abstract

The aim of this study was twofold: (1) to examine the guidelines for learning activities using online learning materials, and (2) to assess the impact of online learning materials on students' mathematical understanding of Prisms and Cylinders. The population of this study consisted of 260 secondary school students in the academic year 2021 at Phachi "Soonthornwittayanukul" School. A sample of 36 eighth-grade students was selected through cluster random sampling. The research instruments included lesson plans designed to promote students' understanding of Prisms and Cylinders through online learning materials, a mathematical understanding test, journals, and math exercises. The data collected from the mathematical understanding test were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and comparative statistics (one-sample t-test) to test the hypothesis.
