EXTROVERT PERSONALITY AND PERCEIVED FEEDBACK AT WORK PREDICTING SELF-DEVELOPMENT OF LOGISTICS COMPANIES’ EMPLOYEES

Abstract

This quantitative research aimed 1) To study the level of self-development, extrovert personality and perceived feedback at work of logistics companies’ employees 2) To study relationship between extrovert personality and self-development of logistics companies’ employees 3) To study relationship between perceived feedback at work and self-development of logistics companies’ employees 4) To predict self-development with extrovert personality and perceived feedback at work of logistics companies’ employees. The sample was 332 employees in the logistics company by proportional stratified random sampling. The instrument for collecting data was a questionnaire. The statistics used to analyze data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson Product Moment Correlation and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis.

The research results found that; 1) extrovert personality, perceived feedback at work and self-development of logistics companies’ employees were at a highest level; 2) there was a positive relationship between extrovert personality and self-development of logistics companies’ employees with a statistical significance at .01 3) there was a positive relationship between perceived feedback at work and self-development of logistics companies’ employees with a statistical significance at .01 4) extrovert personality and the facet of perceived feedback at work; feedback accounted for 73.90% of variance in self-development of logistics companies’ employees with a statistical significance at .01 level.
