COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION PUBLIC SERVICE SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN THE CASE OF ACADEMIC SERVICES RAJAMANGALA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY RATTANAKOSIN

This study's three goals were to: (1) examine the public service system at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin; (2) examine community involvement in receiving public services for academic service by community participation at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin; and (3) offer recommendations for strengthening the public service system for academic service by community involvement. 24 key informants, who were service-receiving business owners in Bangkok and the Central Region, made up the samples. In-depth interviews were used to gather data, which was then thematically analyzed.
The findings revealed that: (1) Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin's academic service system is composed of: (a) meeting customer needs; (b) consistency; (c) equality; (d) economy; and (e) convenience; (2) Community participation in receiving public services for academic service through Rajamangala University of Technology's participation Rattanakosin included (a) public hearings, (b) planning, (c) decision making, (d) implementation, (e) accountability, and (f) benefits; and (3) guidelines for improving public services system for academic service by community participation of Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin discovered that the university should: develop the IT system, organize MOUs between the university and the community, develop short course training, and digital media.
