CONFLICT MANAGEMENT MODEL IN SUB-DISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION IN PHRA NAKHON SI AYUTTHAYA PROVINCE

Abstract

This research article is an mixed study between qualitative research and quantitative research having applied the concept of conflict levels, conflict management and conflict management styles as its framework. The research area is the Sub-District Administrative Organization in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The sample group consisted of 380 people in the Sub-district Administrative Organization in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Initially, a random sampling was performed. The research tools are 2 types: 1) interview form and 2) questionnaire. Data were analyzed: in the quantitative research, by Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation and Multiple Regression, while in qualitative research by content analysis. It is written by descriptive report.
The findings of the research were as follows: 1) The level of conflict in the Sub-District Administrative Organization in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province was found that the overall opinion was at a moderate level. The information aspect was the highest average, while the level of conflict in the sub-district administrative organization in the structure was the least average. 2) Level of conflict was a positive correlation with the conflict management approach in the administration of the Sub-District Administrative Organization in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The overall picture is high. Statistically significant at 0.01 level with a correlation between 0.722 – 0.775. 3) Conflict Management Model in the Administration of Sub-District Administrative Organizations in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province was found that on the conflicts in personnel, the majority has used a compromise method at 40.39%. In finance, a diagnostic power method was employed at 42.81% and at 45.53% having used in a material and equipment tool, and in management a compromise method was enacted at 36.84 percent.
