Model To Improve the Quality Of Life For The Elderly By Using Astrological Strategies In Nakhon Chai Si District, Nakhon Pathom Province

Abstract

This research paper is a mixed method research study between qualitative research and quantitative research. Apply the concept of horoscope beliefs. behavior in psychology and the concept of quality of life as a research framework, research area is Nakhon Chaisri District. Nakhon Pathom Province The sample group was the elderly in Nakhon Chaisri District. Nakhon Pathom Province of 400 people using a stratified selection method. (Proportional Stratified Random Sampling). The sampling was done by a simple random sampling method, and then randomized by a Systematic Random Sampling. There are 2 types of research tools used in this research, namely 1) interview form 2) questionnaire to analyze the data. by the quantitative research section, the statistics used to analyze the data consisted of percentage values. Mean and Standard Deviation and multiple regression analysis methods qualitative research used to analyze content and write a descriptive description. The findings of the research were found as follows:

1)Elderly people in Nakhon Chai Si District Nakhon Pathom Province overall quality of life at a high level the mean was 4.12 and when considering each aspect, it was found that the level of quality of life in terms of emotional well-being was at the highest level. with an average of 4.25, followed by interpersonal relationships at a high level having a mean of 4.17 and the least self-development at a high level has a mean of 4.04 2) Elderly people in Nakhon Chai Si District Nakhon Pathom Province There is belief in horoscope as a whole, it is at a high level. The mean was 4.12 and when considering each aspect, it was found that the horoscope aspect depends on the effort at a high level. with an average of 4.14, followed by horoscopes depending on the law of karma and the horoscope side depends on the rules. of karma and time are blended together at a high level The mean is 4.12 and the least is the horoscope side depends on the time. at a high level the mean is 4.11.
