This study aimed to evaluate the success of the Buddhist business reform plan in Nonthaburi Province using an integrated research methodology that combined quantitative and qualitative research. The research population consisted of monks in Nonthaburi Province, and a sample of 188 participants was selected using a combination of interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using statistical methods such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis.
The results indicated that the factors affecting the administration of Sangha affairs in Nonthaburi Province were perceived to be at a high level, with the highest mean value for public welfare (4.21) and the lowest mean value for public utilities (3.97). The hypothesis testing demonstrated that the success assessment of the Buddhist business reform plan in Nonthaburi Province could be predicted with a statistical significance of .05, with a predictive value (R2) of .759, which means that 75.90% of the factors affecting the administration of the Dharma Department could be predicted. Guidelines for improving the Buddhist business reform plan were also identified, including the need for the Sangha to be determined in their performance and to have a good understanding of their own organization. The Sangha should formulate an effective and efficient strategic plan, form a team to drive the plan, and have sufficient resources to carry out Buddhist affairs. Additionally, it was recommended that the Sangha develop into a Buddhist learning organization to constantly improve their knowledge and ability to manage their affairs.
