DEVELOPMENT OF A PARTICIPATORY ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT MODEL OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATIONS IN DANCHANG DISTRICT SUPHANBURI PROVINCE

Abstract

This is a mixed-methods study that combines qualitative and quantitative research. Apply the concept of factors that affect participation. Engagement process and the concept of participation in environmental management as a research framework. The research area was Suphanburi Province. The sample group consisted of residents of the Dan Chang District served by the local government organization. Suphan Buri Province, a total of 398 people, using a proportional stratified selection method. (Proportional Stratified Random Sampling). by sampling with a simple random method. There are two types of research instruments, which are: 1) interviews and 2) questionnaires.. Data were analyzed by the quantitative research section. The statistics used to analyze the data consisted of percentage values. Mean and standard deviation Methods of deviation and multiple regression analysis qualitative investigation It can be used to analyze content and write a descriptive description.

The findings of the research were as follows: Factors Affecting Participation in Environmental Management of Local Administrative Organizations in Dan Chang District, Suphan Buri Province discovered that when each aspect was considered, the overall opinion was at a high level ( = 3.55). The environmental activities group membership factor had the highest mean ( =3.65) and the environmental information exposure factor had the lowest mean ( = 3.48).

When considering each aspect of the process of participating in environmental management of local administrative organizations in Dan Chang District, Suphan Buri Province, the overall opinion was at a moderate level ( = 3.37 ). , while the mean for removal and pollution activities was ( = 3.32).

According to a model of participatory environmental management developed by local administrative organizations in Dan Chang District, Suphan Buri Province, the overall opinion was moderate (= 3.32) when each aspect was considered. The mean for the evaluation aspect was 3.37, while the mean for the decision side was 3.24.
