HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT MODEL OF SANGHA ORGANIZATION IN MUANG DISTRICT, RATCHABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

This research article was mixed methods of qualitative and quantitative approach. The purposes are 1) to study the level of human resource development of Sangha Organization 2) to study the factors that influence human resource development of Sangha Organization and 3) to present the human resource development model of Sangha Organization in Muang district, Ratchaburi province. The researcher collected information from 271 monks in Muang district, Ratchaburi province, selected by cluster random sampling form of Yamane. The quantitative data were collected by in-depth interview and analyzed by frequency, percentages, mean and hypothesis proved by Multiple Regressions. The qualitative data were analyzed by content analysis. It was presented by descriptive report. The results of research are as follow:
1. Overall, the human resource development of the Sangha Organization in Muang district, Ratchaburi province is at a high level (x=4.18, S.D.=0.420). Considering each aspect found that all aspects were at the highest level.
2. Human resource development of Sangha Organization in Muang district, Ratchaburi province consists of economic, social, and political changes, ability, values, and structure. These are the factors that influence the human resource development of the Sangha Organization in Muang district, Ratchaburi province, and can altogether predict into 55.60 percent with 0.05 level of the statistical significance.
3. Human resource development model of the Sangha Organization in Muang district, Ratchaburi province that accords with current circumstance is a form of human resource development process, which covers the cycle of human resource development that 1) the training area includes the employing highly proficient or experienced lecturers, 2) the educational area includes the education support following the needs of monks and novices, and 3) the development area includes the personnel development to provide knowledge and particular skills along with having good behavior.
