Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1. to study the management of cultural attractions of local administrative organizations in Chiang Rai Province 2. to study the application of dharma principles in the management of cultural attractions of local administrative organizations in Chiang Rai and 3. In order to present a model for the management of cultural attractions of local administrative organizations in Chiang Rai Province. the research was an integrated method consisting of quantitative research. The sample group consisted of 330 people using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using number percentage mean and standard deviation. and qualitative research methods from 19 key informants or persons and a specific group discussion of 12 figures or persons by in-depth interview method. by using the interview form Explanatory and descriptive data analysis

             The results showed that

  1. Management of cultural attractions of local administrative organizations in Chiang Rai Province 1) Planning jointly formulate development plans at the provincial and local levels; 2) the implementation of the plan follow the plan in terms of coordination support budget, materials or equipment 3) the inspection of the implementation of the plan examine the implementation of the plan in terms of tourism activities within cultural attractions. 4) Revision and evaluation of the community-based tourism strategic plan. to be used as a guideline for improving tourism development operations.
  2. Application of Dharma principles in the management of cultural attractions of local administrative organizations in Chiang Rai Province 1) Abbot Sappaya management of the temple by arranging the temple area to be clean. The light is suitable for studying and practicing dharma. Participate in the development of the route to be suitable and convenient. Arrange personnel to coordinate with various tourist attractions to help take care and support tourists. Support personnel to develop temples to be sufficient to welcome tourists. There are activities to promote local food culture. Develop a temple for Sappaya The weather is suitable for the season. Support the organization of activities of temples and places of meditation in connection with community activities.
  3. Propose a model of management of cultural attractions of local administrative organizations in Chiang Rai Province 1) Focusing on the history of ancient sites culture and tradition cultural tourism management focusing on the history of ancient sites arts and culture and traditions are linked to the culture of the community. 2) Sustainable economic, social and environmental management. Local government organizations together with temples and communities creating sustainable tourism 3) preserving the local way of life in terms of society and culture. local scholars took part in disseminating knowledge and arranging courses. 4) providing knowledge to all concerned parties. Create a learning process for stakeholders to have awareness of good service with standards. 5) Conservation of culture and environment. The community loves and cherishes local culture and environment. Promote the Lanna civilization tourism development zone as a cultural and intellectual tourism center. 7) Consideration of the capacity of the area and the cleanliness of the area. Developing suitable tourist attractions will lead to community development through community infrastructure development
