Medium Construction Business Operation Approach and Relationship between Construction Business Performance and Expectation of Construction Business

This research used mix methodology aiming to study: 1) Business performance of the construction business via balanced scorecard, 2) Factors leading to business operation approach of constructions business, 3) Relationship between business performance of the construction business via balanced scorecard and factors leading to business operation approach of constructions business 4) medium construction business operation approach. The qualitative research methodology by in-depth interview of 5 key were executives of medium construction business to build a questionnaire, and quantitative methodology was the main. Data were collected from executive of medium construction business via simple random sampling of 205 respondents of 402 population. The research instrument were questionnaires. The data were then analyzed by computer software packages, statistic treatments were frequency, percentage, means, standard deviation, and ranking, Pearson Correlation, and Multiple Regression at statistical significance level of .05.
The results of the research were as follows: 1) Overall and individual of business performance of construction business via balanced scorecard were of a high importance level, ranked by CV respectively were financial, development and learning, customer, internal process, 2) Overall and individual of factors leading to business operation approach of constructions business were of a high expectation level ranked by CV respectively were value proposition, revenue stream, distribution channel, key resource, cost construction , customer relationship, key activities, 3) Relationship between overall business performance of construction business and factors leading to business operation approach of constructions business were of a moderate level, 4) Medium constructions business operation approach = .897revenue stream was .719 value proposition was .623customer relationship was .530 key resource was .430 cost construction was .321 distribution channel Adjusted R square=.720)
