Factors Affecting the Safety Behavior of Ambulance Driving in the Referral System of Drivers at Community Hospitals A Case Study of Health Region 6

Abstract

The objective of this study were 1) to study the factors that affect to the safety driving of county hospital chauffeurs. The case study at health region 6 2) to compare the factors that affect to the safety driving of county hospital chauffeurs which with biosocial factors 3) to study the relationship between the safety belief factor and the factors that affect to the safety driving of county hospital chauffeurs which 4) to study the relationship between environmental factors and the safety behaviors of ambulance driving in the referral system. Of drivers at community hospitals, the position of the driver, driving the car in the referral system of the driver at the community hospital. specifying sampling by the level of health sampling method by number 6, using the specific sampling method, 113 drivers are responsible for driving in the referral system.

The results of the study found that: 1) the factors that affect to the safety driving of county hospital chauffeurs. The case study at health region 6 were high 2) the comparison result between the factors that affect to the safety driving of county hospital chauffeurs and the ages and driving experiences as hospital chauffeurs were significantly difference at the 0.05 level. While the differences of education level and marital status were not significantly difference. 3) The relationship between the belief factor and the factors that affect to the safety driving of county hospital chauffeurs which were unidirectional significantly related at the 0.05 level. 4) The relationship between the environmental factor and the factors that affect to the safety driving of county hospital chauffeurs which were unidirectional significantly related at the 0.05 level.
